Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee Election—Southern Ward (Notice No. 5078)
Pursuant to regulation 15 (4) and the Second Schedule to the Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1979, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of two producers’ representatives in the Southern Ward to the Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places:
viz., Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Head Office, Wellington, also at the offices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries at Oamaru, Dunedin, Invermay, Invercargill and Alexandra and at the residence of Mrs R. Patterson (Secretary), Maytown Road, Waimate.
The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from Thursday, 23 May 1991, during which period any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing under his hand to any entry on the roll.
Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, MAF Quality Management, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Private Bag, Mosgiel.
Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer no later than noon on the 10th day of July 1991.

The Karitane Harbour Control Order 1991

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At Wellington this 29th day of April 1991
Present:
Her Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, Her Excellency the Governor-General, on the recommendation of the Minister of Conservation, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
Order
- Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Karitane Harbour Control Order 1991.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.
- Interpretation—In this order:
“The Act” means the Harbours Act 1950;
“The Council” means the Dunedin City Council.

Grant of control—There is hereby granted to the council for a period of 21 years from the commencement of this order, the control of the water and foreshores described in the Schedule to this order.

Conditions of grant—The grant of control conferred by clause 3 of this order is subject to the following conditions:
(a) Suitably worded signs shall be erected at main public access ways to the area described in the Schedule to this order indicating that control of it has been granted to the council, pursuant to section 8A and 165 of the Act.
(b) All money received by the council in the performance or exercise of the functions, duties or powers conferred on it by this order in respect of the water and foreshores to which this order applies, shall, after the deduction of any expenditure incurred by the council in the performance or exercise of those functions, duties or powers, be applied to the construction, repair or improvement of natural values and/or facilities in respect of those waters and foreshores and not otherwise.
- Powers of council—Subject to section 8A of the Act, the council may, in respect to the waters and foreshores to which this order applies:
(a) By bylaw, do anything which a harbour board may do by bylaw under section 232 of the Act.
(b) Appoint officers and define or limit their powers or duties
Schedule
The tidal section of the Waikouaiti River up to the Main Road bridge and the area of sea surrounding Karitane Peninsula within a radius of one nautical mile as shown in plan DOC (CM) DU 210.
