Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hokitika, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart for scientific and industrial research purposes.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Gisborne, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is hereby acquired for the purposes of a police station and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the Gazette.
