No. 55

Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land in Waitomo District for Housing Purposes

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, hereby amends the declaration dated the 16th day of November 1990, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 22 November 1990, No. 204, page 4435, acquiring land in Waitomo District for housing purposes by:

(i) Inserting ‘Part Lot 1 and’ before ‘Lots 4’ in the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto.

(ii) Inserting ‘and part Section 4, Village of Te Kuiti’ after ‘D.P. 11398’ in the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto.

Land Set Apart for Government Purpose (Wildlife Management) Reserve in Bay of Plenty Region

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for a Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977.

143.2586 hectares, situated in Bay of Plenty Region, being Moutohora or Whale Island and numbered 403N. All Gazette Notice No. H. 526913 (New Zealand Gazette, 10 May 1984, No. 75, page 1534).

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule Hereto is hereby acquired for service lane, and shall vest in the Thames-Coromandel District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Land Declared to be Road and Road Stopped in the District of Tasman

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 6 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped.
