Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989

Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the General Manager, Iwi Transition Agency hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1991, No. 21.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Tai Reihana, Takerei Reihana and John Reihana and to be known as Whakaarokotahi Marae.

All that piece of land situated in Block IX, Puniu Survey District and described as follows:

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and a church site for the common use and benefit of the Haimona Whanau O Tainui.

All that piece of land situated in Block IV, Hamilton Survey District and described as follows:

2350 More or less, part Parish of Tamahere 149C and being part of the land created by a partition order dated 10 March 1982.

New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981

Declaring Railway Land on the Kingston Branch Railway to be Road

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Queenstown Lakes District Council.
