Harbours Act 1950

Authorising the Thames-Coromandel District Council to Reclaim Land in Coromandel Harbour

Pursuant to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Ministers of Conservation and Lands and with the approval of the Minister of Transport and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Thames-Coromandel District Council to reclaim 5 areas of land totalling 5980 square metres in Coromandel Harbour near Te Kouma Road, more particularly described in the Schedule below.

This authorisation is subject to the following condition:

This reclamation authorisation shall lapse 2 years after the date of the Order in Council unless:

a. effect has been given to this consent; or

b. the Minister of Conservation has, on an application made within 3 months of the expiry date, by the Thames-Coromandel District Council, determined that substantial progress has been made in the construction of the reclamations and that progress is continuing, and has agreed to a further extension.

All those parcels of land containing 5980 square metres, more or less, situated in the South Auckland Land District and more particularly shown marked (A), (B), and (C) on plan DOC(CM) HA 90/2, (S.O. 58347), sheet (6) of (7); and (E) and (F) on plan DOC (CM) HA 90/2, (S.O. 58346), sheet (7) of (7), deposited in the Waikato Conservancy Office of the Department of Conservation at Hamilton.

Reserves Act 1977

Amending a Notice Authorising the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator, Waikato Conservancy, Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby amends the notice authorising the exchange of part of a reserve for other land, dated 4 October 1989 and published in New Zealand Gazette, 12 October, No. 181, page 5092 and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as No. H. 911011 by adding the land described in the Schedule hereto to the First Schedule to that notice.

South Auckland Land District

275 square metres, more or less, being Sections 22 and 23, Survey Office, Plan 57902, situated in NZMS 261 Sheets 2.1 and 3.1. All certificate of title No. 46A/881.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Hastings District Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Hawke’s Bay of the Department of Conservation, cancels the vesting in the Hastings District Council and revokes the reservation as a local purpose (roadman’s cottage) reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorising the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of that part of Okere Falls Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
