Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator, Otago, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby revokes the notice authorising the exchange of part of the Chaslands Scenic Reserve for other land dated 5 December 1990 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 13 December 1990, No. 217, page 4665.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Tongariro/Taupo Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Taupo District Council on the 12th day of February 1991:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Taupo District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the District in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same as hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of section 17 of the said Act.”

Cancellation of the Vesting in The Rangitikei District Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Hawke’s Bay of the Department of Conservation, cancels the vesting in The Rangitikei District Council and revokes the reservation as a site for a roadman’s cottage, over the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.
