Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the General Manager, Iwi Transition Agency hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangaui 1991, No. 5.
2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Maori Affairs Act 1953

Redefining Purposes of Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the purposes for which the Maori Reservation was in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, created by notice in the New Zealand Gazette on 5 September 1956, No. 51, page 1255, are hereby redefined as a meeting place and recreation ground to be known as Te Kia Ora Marae for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of the Kakanui District.
