Land in Hauraki District Acquired for Road (SH 2) and for the Functioning Indirectly of a Road

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 2, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the functioning indirectly of a road, and further declares that the land in both Schedules shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Taken and Road Stopped in Otorohanga District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, hereby amends the notice dated the 5th day of August 1987, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 13 August 1987, No. 135 at page 3874, declaring land to be taken and road stopped, by:

(a) Deleting the words “memorandum of mortgage H. 790158.4” from paragraph (c) (i) and substituting the words “memoranda of mortgage H. 79158.4 and H. 835298”.

(b) Deleting paragraph (c) (ii) and substituting the following:

“(ii) The stopped road fourthly described in the Second Schedule hereto, now known as Section 2, S.O. Plan 48094, to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 20A/638, South Auckland Land Registry.”

(c) Deleting “No. H. 084075.4, H. 084075.5 and statutory land charge H. 278966” and substituting “H. 911969.4 and H. 084075.5”.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Matamata-Piako District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Waikato Regional Council on the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.
