Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, hereby amends the notice dated the 17th day of August 1990 published in the New Zealand Gazette of 23 August 1990, No. 145, page 2987, under the heading “Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes” by deleting the reference to “5590 m²” in the Schedule and substituting “5990 m²” therefore.

Amending a Notice Concerning the Realignment of Putere Road, Wairoa District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, hereby amends the notice dated the 20th day of November 1990, published in New Zealand Gazette of 29 November 1990, No. 209, page 4513, under the heading “Realignment of Putere Road, Wairoa District” by deleting the land secondly described in the Fourth Schedule and substituting the following land:

Land Acquired for Road, Land Declared to be Road and Road Stopped in the District of Buller

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 69 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be road and, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 69 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped.
