Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Union Organisation for Failure to Deliver Annual Accounts

Pursuant to section 31 (2) of the Labour Relations Act 1987, it is hereby notified that the registration of the New Zealand Tramways and Public Passenger Transport Employees Union Registered No. 1/99, situated at Auckland will be cancelled on the expiration of 30 days from the date after the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless a copy of the accounts together with a certificate signed by the Auditor in accordance with section 49 of this Act are forwarded to the Registrar.

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 2, 1991

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

Notice
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 2, 1991.

The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 2, 1990, signed on the 3rd day of December 1990*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

Schedule

Situated within Selwyn District at Irwell:
Leeston-Christchurch Road: from a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, from Lake Road South to a point 400 metres measured southerly, generally, along Leeston-Christchurch Road from Lake Road South.

Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986

Temporary Exemption from Certification Requirements

Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby exempt from the requirements of regulation 8 of the said regulations any vehicle described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the conditions prescribed.

Schedule

Any vehicle imported into New Zealand as passenger's baggage in terms of Reference 80 (BA) of Part II (Concessions) of the New Zealand Tariff, provided that the vehicle isβ€”

(a) certified as complying with the applicable requirements of the said regulations within 28 days of the date of registration; and

(b) registered in New Zealand before the 1st day of July 1991.

Pursuant to sub-section (3) of section 10 of the Standards Act 1988, notice is hereby given that the following drafts are being circulated for comment as Joint New Zealand/Australian Standards.

Approval and Test Specifications

DZ/AS 3105 Electrical portable outlet devices. (To supersede NZS 6219:1989).

DZ/AS 3112 Plugs and socket outlets. (To supersede NZS 6216:1989).

DZ/AS 3120 Cord extension sockets. (To supersede NZS 6217:1989).

DZ/AS 3122 Socket-outlet adaptors. (To supersede NZS 6218:1989).

The superseded New Zealand Standards will be revoked 12 months after publication of the Joint Standards.

DZ/AS 3123 Plugs, socket-outlets and couplers for general industrial application. (Cancels the endorsement of AS 3123-1987).

DZ/AS 3197 Portable electrical control or conditioning devices.

These drafts only contain the text of a proposed further amendment circulated for comment in New Zealand. Any persons who wish to comment on these proposed Joint Standards may obtain copies of the base Australian Standards and the draft amendments from the Standards Association of
