The Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 1 1991

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 1 1991.

The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Malvern County) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated on the 4th day of May 1972*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, is revoked.

Schedule

Situated within Selwyn District at Arthurs Pass:

No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara): from a point 250 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Rough Creek to a point 500 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Avalanche Creek.

Public Finance Act 1989

Notice of Guarantee Given Pursuant to Section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989—Drought Rehabilitation Loan Scheme

Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:

On various dates listed below the Minister of Finance gave a guarantee, pursuant to section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989, to the financial institutions set out below in respect of the borrowings of certain South Island farmers who have suffered the effects of drought. The guarantee is given in respect of up to $60,000 or 80%, which ever is the lesser, of the borrowings of each eligible farmer for a period of 4 years from the date upon which the loan was made where an application for a loan has been made on or before the 31st day of October 1990, and where notification has been received by the Crown not later than the 31st day of December 1990:

Notice of Guarantee Given Pursuant to Section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989—Rural Banking and Finance Corporation of New Zealand

Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:

On the 2nd day of July 1990, the Minister of Finance, gave a guarantee, pursuant to section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989, to the Bank of New Zealand, acting through its branch in London, England, and to holders of notes issued by the Rural Banking and Finance Corporation of New Zealand after the 31st day of October 1989 and before the 19th day of December 1991, in respect of payment obligations of the Rural Banking and Finance Corporation of New Zealand. The guarantee is given in respect of up to US$200,000,000.
