Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes.

Schedule

Nelson Land District—Tasman District
64.7497 hectares, more or less, being Section 15, Block VIII, Burnett Survey District.

Declaring Land to be a Scientific Reserve

Pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares the conservation land in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a scientific reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

Schedule

Otago Land District—Central Otago District
15.043 hectares, more or less, being Section 24, Block II, Tarras Survey District. All DOC 688858, S.O. 21412.

(a) Refer to second piece of land, Kaingaika A3 delete all reference to this notice as above land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1729, folio 30, previously released.

(b) Refer to fifth piece of land, Rangitoto-Tuhua 64B2 delete certificate of title, Volume 325, folio 292 and insert correct certificate of title, Volume 24A, folio 1452.

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the General Manager, Iwi Transition Agency hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1991, No. 6.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
