Notice of Application for the Renewal of an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 15 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Malaysian Airline System Berhad has applied for the renewal of its International Air Service Licence to operate air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Malaysia and Auckland from 5 December 1991, and that it is proposed that the renewal be granted for a period of 5 years from that date.

Further details of this application and proposal may be obtained from the Acting General Manager, Air Transport Division, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt.

Any person or organisation desiring to make representations relating to this application must forward the representations in writing to me on or before 26 September 1991.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Malaysian Airline System Berhad, with effect from 27 September 1991, so as to require, in respect of tariffs, only that no tariffs be applied that are higher than those filed and approved.

The Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 1, 1991

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller, Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 1, 1991.

The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 2, 1984, signed on the 11th day of July 1984, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

The Traffic (Clutha District) Notice No. 1, 1991

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Clutha District) Notice No. 1, 1991.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the first day of Labour Weekend in each year and ending with the last day of Easter in the next ensuing year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 50 kilometres an hour fixed by the said section.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the first day after Easter each year and ending with the last day before Labour Weekend in the same year shall be subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometres an hour as permitted by the said regulation.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Bruce County) Notice No. 1, 1977, dated on the 25th day of August 1977*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.
