(u) The Branch Power Canal, including Argyle Pond, downstream to its confluence with the Wairau River."
- Closed season—(1) Clause 4 of the principal notice is amended by adding a new subclause,
"(4) There shall be a closed season for fishing for chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) within a radius of 200 metres from the mouth of the Kahutara River (to be marked by a sign) from 1 February to 30 April in the same year."
- Authorised lures and baits—(1) Subclause (2) of clause 6 of the principal notice is amended by adding the following paragraphs:
"(m) Acheron River;
(n) Clarence River above the Glen Alton Bridge;
(o) D’Urville River;
(p) Sabine River;
(q) Travers River".

District Anglers (North Canterbury Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1
Pursuant to section 26A (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the North Canterbury Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (North Canterbury Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, pages 3213–3215.
- Title and commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (North Canterbury Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (North Canterbury Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).
(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1991.

Interpretation—Clause 1 of the principal notice is amended by omitting the year “1982” and substituting the year “1983”.

Closed season—Clause 4 of the principal notice is amended by deleting from subclause (1) (c) the words “and in Lake Letitia”.

Daily limit bag—Clause 10 of the principal notice is amended by:
(a) Omitting from subclause (1) the figure “8” and substituting the figure “6”;
(b) Repealing paragraph (b) of subclause (2) and substituting with: “(b) 2 quinnat salmon taken from any other water”;
(c) Omitting from subclause (3) the figure “8” and substituting the figure “6”.

District Anglers (West Coast Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1
Pursuant to section 26A (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the West Coast Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (West Coast Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, pages 3215–3216.
- Title and commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (West Coast Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (West Coast Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).
(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1991.

Open season—Paragraph (g) of subclause (2) of clause 3 of the principal notice is amended by omitting the words: “any river, stream or creek flowing into the lake;” and substituting with “the confluence of the Crooked, Orangipuku, and Eastern Hohonu rivers, and Eel Creek”.

Daily limit bag—(1) Paragraph (b) of subclause (2) of clause 10 of the principal notice is amended by omitting the word “Makihinu” and substituting with “Mokihinui”.
(2) Subclause (1) of this clause corrects a spelling error.

District Anglers (South Canterbury Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1
Pursuant to section 26A (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Central South Island Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (South Canterbury Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, pages 3216–3219.
- Title and commencement—(1) The District Anglers (South Canterbury Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, is hereby amended to read as the “District Anglers (Central South Island Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990.
(2) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Central South Island Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Central South Island Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (as amended by subclause (1) of this clause, and hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).
(3) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1991.
- Interpretation—Clause 2 of the principal notice is amended by inserting the following subclause:
"(2) (a) In this notice—“Total weight” in relation to any rod fishing shall include the weight of anything attached to the line".
- Open season—(1) Clause 3 of the principal notice is amended by repealing subclause (3) and substituting the following:
"(3) There shall be an open season for fishing for sports fish;
(a) From the 1st day of October in any year to the 30th day of September in the year following in the Pukaki-Ohau, Tekapo-Pukaki, Ruataniwha-Ohau ‘B’ and Ohau ‘C’ hydro canals, in Lakes Aviemore, Benmore, Tekapo and Ruataniwha including Waipori Arm and Kellands Pond, and in the Rangitata Diversion race from the intake downstream to Rakai River Road.
(b) From the 1st day of May to the 31st day of May in the same year in Lake Camp.
- Closed season—Clause 4 of the principal notice is amended by:
(1) Omitting from paragraph (a) of subclause (1) the word “Otemata” and substituting with “Otemata”.
(2) Repealing paragraph (d) of subclause (1).
(3) Renumbering paragraphs (e) and (f) of subclause (1) as paragraphs (d) and (e) respectively.
(4) Adding to paragraph (d) a new subparagraph:
"(d) From the confluence of the Pukaki and Tekapo rivers downstream to State Highway 8".
