District Anglers (Waikato Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to section 26R (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Auckland/Waikato Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Waikato Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, pages 3202–3205.

1. Title and commencement—(1) The District Anglers (Waikato Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 is hereby amended to read as the "District Anglers (Auckland/Waikato Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990."

(2) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Auckland/Waikato Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Auckland/Waikato Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (as amended by subclause (1) of this clause, and hereinafter referred to as the "principal notice").

(3) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1991.

2. Authorised tackle—(1) Clause 5 of the principal notice is amended by:

(a) Repealing subclauses (6), (7) (f), (7) (g) and (7) (i)

3. Minimum size to be taken—(1) Clause 11 (2) (a) (vii) is amended by omitting the words "The Hikutaia Cut" and substituting the words "Lake Parkinson".

(2) Clause 11 (2) (a) is amended by repealing subclause "(viii)".

District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to section 26R (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, pages 3208–3209.

1. Title and commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal notice").

(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1991.

2. Authorised lures and baits—Clause 8 of the principal notice is amended by deleting from subclause (2) (b) the words "uncoloured bread dough" and substituting the words "bread dough".

District Anglers (Taranaki Fish and Game Region) Notice 1991

Pursuant to section 26R (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as added by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Taranaki Fish and Game Council hereby gives the following District Anglers Notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Taranaki Fish and Game Region) Notice 1991 and shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1991.

2. Interpretation—Words and expressions in this notice which are defined in the Conservation Act 1987, or the Freshwater Fisheries Regulations 1983, shall have the meaning so defined.

3. Open Season—(1) Sports fish may only be taken from waters during the open season provided for those waters.

(2) In all waters except those listed below the open season shall be from the 1st of October in any year to 30th day of April in the following year (both days inclusive).

(3) In the waters known as:

(a) Lake Rotomanu;

(b) Lake Mangamahoe;

(c) Opunake Lake;

(d) Ohakune Lake;

(e) Rotokare Lake;

(f) Virginia Lake:

The open season shall be from 1st of October in any year to 30th of September in the following year (both days inclusive).

(4) In the waters known as:

(a) Manganuiateao River (and its tributaries);

(b) Retaruke River (and its tributaries);

(c) Tokiahuru River (and its tributaries);

(d) Mangawhero River (and its tributaries) upstream from Kakatahi;

(e) Raetihi Hydro Dam;

The open season shall be from 1st of October in any year to 30th of June in the following year (both days inclusive).

(5) In the waters known as:

(a) Lake Rotorangi from the dam face to the Mangamingi ramp;

(b) Lake Ratapiko, except the inlet race as shown by signboards;

(c) Waitara River downstream from the Manganui River confluence;

(d) Waiwhakaiho River downstream from Rimu Street shown by signboards;

(e) Huatoki Stream downstream from Brois Street bridge;

(f) Stony (Hangatahua) River, Waiau River, Mangahuia River, Kaupokonui River Waingongoro River, all downstream from the State Highway No. 45 bridges;

(g) All waters south of the line from Patea to the Whanganui-Manganuioteao River confluence, to Kakatahi, and through Colliers Junction to the Boundary; the open season shall be from 1st of October in any year to the 30th of April in the following year (both days inclusive), then from the 10th of June of that following year to the 30th of September of that same year (both days inclusive).

(6) In the waters known as:

(a) Lake Wiritoa;

(b) Lake Pauri;

The open season shall be from the 1st of October in any year to the 12th of April in the following year (both days inclusive), and then from the 1st August to the 30th September of that year (both days inclusive).
