Traffic Regulations 1976
Approval of Motorcycle Safety Helmets
Pursuant to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976* and pursuant to powers delegated to me by section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, motorcycle safety helmets of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto are hereby approved for the purposes of regulation 31 of the said regulations.

Safety helmets manufactured by Arai Helmet Ltd, complying with E.C.E. Regulation 22.03, having the model designation MX-E, and bearing the required serial numbers, and any one of the marks of homologation:

Approval of Traffic Improvement School
Pursuant to section 48 (2) (b) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986; and under powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument of delegation dated the 31st day of August 1990; I, Warren Richard Gillespie Simeon, Controller Road User Standards, hereby approve the following organisations or instructors for the purpose of conducting courses pursuant to regulations 11 (1) (b) (i) and 32 (2) of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987.

Note of Indemnity Given Pursuant to Section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989—European Treasures—Waikato Museum
Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
On the 4th day of July 1991, I, Ruth Margaret Richardson, Minister of Finance, gave an indemnity pursuant to section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989 to the Waikato Museum in respect of the exhibition, “European Treasures: Great Paintings from Machiavelli to Monet” scheduled to be shown at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery from 20 July to 25 August 1991 and the Waikato Museum from 7 September to 10 November 1991.

Conservation Act 1987
Name Changes for Fish and Game Regions
Pursuant to section 26A (1) (c) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as inserted by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), I, Denis Marshall, Minister of Conservation, hereby approve name changes for the following Fish and Game Regions.
- Waikato Fish and Game Region
The name of the Waikato Fish and Game Region as comprising the area delineated on S.O. Plan 58494, deposited with the Chief Surveyor of the South Auckland Land District is altered to “Auckland/Waikato Fish and Game Region.”
- South Canterbury Fish and Game Region
The name of the South Canterbury Fish and Game Region as comprising the area delineated on S.O. Plan 18342, deposited with the Chief Surveyor at the Canterbury Land District is altered to “Central South Island Fish and Game Region.”
- Clause 1 and 2 of this notice amend the descriptions contained in the New Zealand Gazette of 24 May 1990, at page 1861.

Pursuant to section 26R (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Northland Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Northland Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, page 3202.
- Title and commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Northland Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Northland Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).
(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1991.
