Corrigendum

Declaring Land at Ashburton to be Set Apart for Railway Purposes

In the notice with the above heading, dated the 18th day of April 1990 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 April 1990, No. 64 at page 1403, for the reference to "Lot 1" in the land secondly described in the Schedule, read "Lot 2", which reference appears in the original notice signed on behalf of the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation.

Declaring Land at Te Kauwhata to be Set Apart for Railway Purposes

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Waikato District

Both those pieces of land situated in Block XV, Maramarua Survey District, described as follows:

5970 Lot 1, L.T. Plan S 55338.
369 Lot 2, L.T. Plan S 55338.

Declaring Land and Easements in Gross at Edgehill to be Acquired for Railway Purposes

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into:

(a) the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

(b) an easement in gross of a right of way containing the rights and powers set forth in clause 1 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

(c) an easement in gross of a right to convey electricity described in the Third Schedule hereto over the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

First Schedule

Wellington Land District—Manawatu District

Land for Railway

16 square metres, situated in Block X, Hautapu Survey District, being part Section 5; as shown marked ‘G’ on plan L.O. 36216 (S.O. 36180), lodged in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington.

Second Schedule

Wellington Land District—Manawatu District

Land Subject to a Right of Way Easement in Gross

All those pieces of land situated in Block X, Hautapu Survey District, described as follows:

Area m² Being
1065 Part Section 5; marked ‘A’ on plan.
2433 Part Section 5; marked ‘B’ on plan.
29 Part Section 5; marked ‘D’ on plan.
9095 Part Section 5; marked ‘F’ on plan.

As shown marked as above mentioned on plan L.O. 36216 (S.O. 36180), lodged in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington.

Third Schedule

Easement in Gross of a Right to Convey Electrical Power

The rights and powers implied in and attaching to a right to convey water as set out in the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, as if the same were fully set out herein, save that the word “pipe(s)” shall, where applicable, be replaced by the word “cable(s)” and the word “water” be replaced by the words “electrical power”.

Wellington Land District—Manawatu District

Land Subject to an Electrical Power Easement in Gross

All those pieces of land situated in Block X, Hautapu Survey District, described as follows:

29 Part Section 5; marked ‘D’ on plan.
2 Part Section 5; marked ‘E’ on plan.
