Conservation Act 1987

Notification of Disposal of Conservation Land

Pursuant to section 26 of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the land formerly held for conservation purposes, described in the Schedule hereto, has been disposed of to the Westland District Council for the consideration of ten thousand one hundred and sixty-three dollars including goods and services tax.

Westland Land District—Westland District

45.2500 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 11501, situated in Blocks VII and IX, Waibo Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1989, page 3909. All certificate of title 5C/1242.

Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977.

South Auckland Land District—Taupo District

70.5923 hectares, more or less, being Tauhara Middle Parts 4A2B2C Block, situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Tauhara Survey District. New Zealand Gazette, 1988, page 4344. M.L. Plan 21615.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of a Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Resource Use and Recreation Policy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Kapiti Coast District Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale, together with a sum equal to the current market value of the land to be set apart by the Council as road, to be paid into the Council's Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Wellington Land District—Kapiti Coast District

1844 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 45, Deposited Plan 5853, situated in Block I, Paekakariki Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1968, page 759 (Gazette, notice 751932).

New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981

Declaring Road at Waimiha to be Acquired for Railway Purposes

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and all other powers ensuring under that Act, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Taranaki Land District—Ruapehu District

All that piece of road containing 1060 square metres, situated in Block III, Tangitu Survey District adjoining the N.M.I.T. Railway; as shown marked “B” on plan L.O. 36166 (S.O. 13104) lodged in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington.
