Hazardous Substances—Prescribed Standard
Notice
Pursuant to Section 70E (2) (b) of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport, hereby declares that the 'prescribed standard' referred to in Section 70E (3) (b) (c) and (d) of the Transport Act 1962, shall be the standard described in the following Schedule.

NEW ZEALAND STANDARD 5433: 1988 entitled Code of Practice for the Transport of Hazardous Substances on Land.
This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of May 1990.

Pursuant to section 119 (5) of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989, I, the Honourable David Francis Caygill, Minister of Finance, in accordance with a recommendation of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, give the following notice.

Title—This notice may be cited as the DFC New Zealand Limited (Appointment of Advisory Committee) Notice (No. 3) 1990.

Appointment of member to advisory committee:
(i) Thomas Stewart Tennant, of Wellington, banker, or in his absence Lindsay Campbell Pyne, of Wellington, banker, are hereby appointed as members of the advisory committee to advise the statutory manager of the companies that are subject to statutory management under Part V of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989 by virtue of the DFC New Zealand Limited (Statutory Management) Order 1990, on the exercise of the powers conferred by Part V of that Act in relation to those companies.
(ii) The members named in this notice are appointed for a period that commences on the 3rd day of May 1990 and that expires on the 30th day of September 1990.

In this notice, a reference to the absence of any person shall mean the absence of that person from the whole or part of any meeting of the advisory committee.
