NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Road Realignment in Whakatane District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in the Whakatane District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.

(i) Areas "K", "L", "M" and "CC", now known as Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4, S.O. 56973 respectively, "R", now known as Section 1, S.O. 56974, and "W" and "X", now known together as Section 3, S.O. 56975, to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

(ii) Area "AA", now known as Section 2, S.O. 56975, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 29C/559, subject to memoranda of mortgage H. 46155217 and H. 46155219, South Auckland Land Registry.

(iii) Area "G", now known as Section 4, S.O. 56972, shall be added to the adjoining State Forest.

(d) Pursuant to section 119 declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be taken.
