Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director, Estate Protection, Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a library reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Invercargill District Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.

Southland Land District—Invercargill District

1012 square metres, more or less, being Section 4, Block IX, Town of Invercargill. All C.T. 1A/881.

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the General Manager of the Iwi Transition Agency hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1989, No. 16.
2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Hauraki District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Waikato Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
