Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Air New Zealand Limited to provide for the operation of one B767 service per week to Kuala Lumpur from points in New Zealand optionally via an intermediate point.

This amendment will take effect on 2 February 1990.

Notice of Guarantee Given Pursuant to Section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989—Commonwealth Games Government Guarantee

Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:

On the 8th day of December 1989, I, David Francis Caygill, Minister of Finance, gave a guarantee pursuant to section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989 to the ASB Bank Limited in respect of the borrowings of XIVth Commonwealth Games Limited. The guarantee is for a maximum of NZ$20,000,000 in respect of principle plus a maximum of NZ$2,340,000 in respect of interest and charges and will remain in effect until all monies owing by XIVth Commonwealth Games Limited have been paid.
