Intermediate School, Auckland, Board of Trustees that was held on the 29th day of April 1989 is hereby declared to be and always to have been as valid as it would have been if voting papers had not been issued in one envelope per household instead of one envelope per person on the electoral roll.
This notice comes into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to clause 9, Second Schedule of the School Trustees Act 1989, the parent election of the members of the Otahuhu Intermediate School, Auckland, Board of Trustees that was held on the 10th day of May 1989 is hereby declared to be and always to have been as valid as it would have been if it had been held on the 29th day of April 1989 as required, by section 11 (7) of the School Trustees Act 1989, to be held.

Pursuant to clause 9, Second Schedule of the School Trustees Act 1989, the parent election of the members of the Cashmere High School, Christchurch, Board of Trustees that was held on the 29th day of April 1989 is hereby declared to be and always to have been as valid as it would have been if the voting papers had been despatched at least 18 days before the day of election as required, by regulation 16 (b) of the School Trustees (Elections) Regulations 1989, to be done.

The Clydemore School, Auckland Board of Trustees Election Invalidation Notice 1989
Pursuant to clause 9, Second Schedule of the School Trustees Act 1989, the parent election of the members of the Clydemore School, Auckland, Board of Trustees that was held on the 29th day of April 1989, in view of the discrepancy described below and notwithstanding that it was held as required by section 11 (7) of the School Trustees Act 1989, is hereby invalidated.
On the 16th day of May the Returning Officer published an election result declaring the following candidates elected:
James Craigie
Jane Craigie
Rongo Hemara
Heeni Stirling
Wakina Wiremu
However at the official count conducted in the presence of scrutineers the voting results as agreed would have resulted in the following candidates being elected:
James Craigie
Jane Craigie
Rongo Hemara
Heeni Stirling
Raima Wiremu
A new parent election is required to be held on the 15th day of July 1989.
This notice comes into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

The Horotiu School Board of Trustees Election Validation Notice 1989
Pursuant to clause 9, Second Schedule of the School Trustees Act 1989, the parent election of the members of the Horotiu School, Waikato, Board of Trustees that was held on the 29th day of April 1989 is hereby declared to be and always to have been as valid as it would have been ifβ
(a) the returning officer had not counted the votes on the 4th day of May 1989; and
(b) the returning officer had not declared the results immediately following that count; and
(c) the returning officer had not recounted the votes on the 9th day of May and declared a new result.

on the nomination of the Council of the New Zealand Institute of Architects.

on the nomination of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (Inc.).
Christopher Ralph Alexander of Hawkes Bay on the nomination of the New Zealand Master Buildersβ Federation (Inc.).
William Munro Duncan of Upper Hutt
on the nomination of the University Grants Committee; and
Osborne Jones of Auckland
to be members of the Architects Education and Registration Board, all for a term of 3 years ending on 31 May 1992. It is further notified that the following persons have also been appointed to the Architects Education and Registration Board, for the same term of office:

William Melrose Craigie of Wainuiomata, reappointed by the Minister of Education, and
James Matthew Glynan of Wellington appointed by the Minister of Commerce.
