Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989

The Corporations (Investigation and Management) (Functions of Advisory Committee) Notice 1989

Pursuant to section 60 (2) (b) of the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Corporations (Investigation and Management) (Functions of Advisory Committee) Notice 1989.

  2. Interpretation—In this notice—

“The Act” means the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989:

“The advisory committee” means the advisory committee—

(a) Appointed under section 26 of the Companies Special Investigations Act 1958 by virtue of the Companies Special Investigations (Appointment of Advisory Committee) Order 1989; and

(b) Deemed to have been appointed under section 60 of the Act by virtue of the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Order 1989* and section 75 (2) (d) of the Act.

  1. Additional function of advisory committee—In addition to the function conferred on the advisory committee by section 60 (2) (a) of the Act, the advisory committee shall also report to the Minister of Justice, at intervals of no longer than 6 months, on the exercise of its functions under the Act.

Sale of Liquor Act 1962

Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Southland Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Southland Licensing Committee on 1 May 1989 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Milford Hotel, Milford Sound.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) That the time in respect of the operation of the public bar be varied to be from 11 o’clock in the morning to 8 o’clock in the evening daily.

Pursuant to section 31 (3) of the Labour Relations Act 1987, it is hereby notified that the registration of the North Island Federated Herd Testers and Related Trades Employees Industrial Association of Workers, Registered No. 1963, situated at Hamilton, has been cancelled as from the following date for failure to deliver to the Registrar a copy of its accounts together with a certificate signed by the Auditor in accordance with section 49 of this Act.
