GANZ Installation Code 1989

This code is an interim measure until it is published as a New Zealand Standard.

(3) Introduce an LPGANZ Installation Code for LPG installations.

The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 142, page 3269 on 1 August 1985 will be revoked on 1 July 1989.

Schedule

  1. NZS 5258 Code of Practice for Gas Distribution, published by the New Zealand Standards Association. This Code shall become effective on 1 July 1989.

  2. Installation Code for Gas Burning Appliances and Equipment, published by the Gas Association of New Zealand, April 1989. This Code shall become effective on 1 July 1989.

  3. Code of Practice No. 9, Certification and Approval of LPG Installations, published by the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association of New Zealand (Inc.), 1989. This code shall become effective on 1 May 1989.

Tuberculosis Regulations 1951

Approval of Persons Authorised to Perform Vaccination Against Tuberculosis

Pursuant to regulation 6 (4) of the Tuberculosis Regulations 1951, the Director-General of Health hereby gives notice that the following persons, additional to those contained in the Gazette, dated 8 December 1988, No. 210, page 5264, have been approved as qualified to perform vaccinations against tuberculosis in accordance with those regulations.

The Hawke's Bay United Council (Validation of Notification of Contributions) Order 1989

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At Wellington this 3rd day of April 1989

Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Whereas the Hawke's Bay United Council was required by section 126 (1) of the Local Government Act 1974 to give to each of its constituent authorities, before the 15th day of March 1988, a written notice specifying the proposed contributions for the financial year commencing on the 1st day of March 1988 to be payable by those constituent authorities, together with a copy of the estimates for that financial year prepared under section 121 of that Act: And whereas the Hawke's Bay United Council sent the notice and a copy of the estimates to each of its constituent authorities on the 16th day of March 1988:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 719 of the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Hawke's Bay United Council (Validation of Notification of Contributions) Order 1989.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Validation—The action of the Hawke's Bay United Council in giving to each of its constituent authorities, after the time required by section 126 (1) of the Local Government Act 1974, a notice specifying the proposed contributions for the financial year commencing on the 1st day of March 1988 to be payable by those authorities, together with a copy of the estimates for that financial year prepared under section 121 of that Act, is hereby declared to be and to have always been valid.

Appointment of Disputes Tribunals Referee

Pursuant to section 7 of the Disputes Tribunal Act 1988, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Ian Roderick Smith, works engineer of Nelson

to be a Referee to exercise the jurisdiction of the Disputes Tribunals for a term of 3 years on and from 28 July 1989.
