- Results of all tenders will be published in the Gazette which is available at Government bookshops. Box 857), Hamilton; Head Office, Mulgrave Street (Private Bag), Wellington 1; Mercer Street (Private Bag), Wellington; 159 Hereford Street (Private Bag), Christchurch; 1, Carroll House, Princes Street (P.O. Box 1104) Dunedin; Centreport, Queens Drive, Lower Hutt.
Who Can Bid?
Tenders may be submitted by any person or enterprise domiciled in New Zealand.
Tendering Format
- Tenders are to be made by letter.
- The following information must be given:
(a) Name and address of tenderer;
(b) Number of units tendered;
(c) Amount per litre of the bid.
Advice and Publication
- Following the closure of the tenders, bids will be publicly opened in the office of the Collector of Customs in Nelson, in the presence of a Justice of the Peace.
- Successful tenderers will receive an Australian Tariff Quota Allocation which will show the c.i.f. value of the wine which may be imported and the concession rate of duty applicable.
- Unsuccessful tenderers will be notified by letter.
- The name and allocation of all tenderers, successful and invalid, and the amount of bid in each case will be published in the Gazette as soon as possible after the opening of the tenders.
Period of Australian Tariff Quota
Australian Tariff Quotas issued under this tendering will be available until the 30th day of June 1990.

Gas Act 1982
Safety Requirements for Gas Distribution and Installations and LPG Installations
Pursuant to section 61 of the Gas Act 1982 and to regulations 12 and 37 of the Gas Industry Regulations 1984, I, Sayeed Merdi Yassaa, hereby give notice that, subject to any other specific approval given by me:
-
Only such pipes, gas appliances and gas installations falling within the scope of the Codes of Practice specified in the Schedule hereto, are approved for the purposes of the Gas Act 1982; and
-
Only such methods of operation and maintenance of such approved pipes, gas appliances and gas installations as comply with the said codes, are approved for the purposes of the Gas Act 1982.
These approvals become effective on the dates given in the Schedule.
For the purpose of this approval the term βAuthorityβ where it is used in those Codes shall be:
(a) In the case of reticulated gas the appropriate gas supplier;
(b) In all other cases either:
(i) The installer of the equipment; or
(ii) Such other person that I may notify in writing to the installer of the equipment.
Note: The effect of this notice is to:
(1) Replace the GANZ Reticulation Code 1976 with a New Zealand Standard. (The Standard has been completed but will not be printed until June 1989).
(2) Replace the GANZ Installation Code, 1976 and Industrial Installation Codes, Parts 1 and 2, 1977 with a new
