Amending a Notice Declaring Land Acquired at Westport for Post Office Purposes

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice dated the 27th day of February 1989 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 March 1989, No. 43, page 986, declaring a reserve to be set apart for post office purposes by omitting the following from the Schedule:

“Canterbury”

and substituting the following:

“Nelson”

Road Deviation at Mitchells

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Hokitika, the District Manager, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Grey County Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 118 and with the consent of the Minister of Conservation, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and vested in The Grey County Council.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and with the consent of The Grey County Council added to the Lake Brunner Scenic Reserve.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which pursuant to section 11 (1a), National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.
