Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Recreation, Tourism and Historic Resources of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Land Acquired for River Control Purposes in Southland County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for river control purposes and shall vest in The Southland Catchment Board on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Road Realignment in Southland County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill:

(a) Declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be taken under section 119 of the Public Works Act 1981 and declares that:

(i) The area marked ‘B’ on S.O. Plan 10016 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, No. 6B/304, subject to existing encumbrances.

(ii) The area marked ‘N’ on S.O. Plan 10017 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 21, folio 212, subject to existing encumbrances.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be road, vested in The Southland County Council.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 (i) and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and declares that:

(i) The area marked ‘C’ on S.O. Plan 10016 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 6B/304, subject to existing encumbrances.

(ii) The area marked ‘G’ on S.O. Plan 10017 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 21, folio 212, subject to existing encumbrances.

(iii) The area marked ‘H’ on S.O. Plan 10017 and the area marked ‘M’ on S.O. Plan 10018 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 135, folio 130, limited as to parcels, subject to existing encumbrances.

(d) Pursuant to sections 116 (2) (b) and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Fourth Schedule hereto to be stopped and declares that the areas marked ‘K’ and ‘L’ on S.O. Plan 10018 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 135, folio 130, limited as to parcels, subject to existing encumbrances.
