Land Acquired for Road in Thames-Coromandel Land District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 25 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Taken in Block VIII, Tuturau Survey District, Southland County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road, and vested in the Southland County Council;

(b) Pursuant to section 119 (1), declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be taken;

(c) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped;

(d) Pursuant to sections 117 and 119 (2), declares that the area of land described in the Second Schedule together with the area of road described in the Third Schedule shall when so taken and stopped be incorporated in Crown Deferred Payment Licence No. 764 recorded in Register Book No. 6D/150, Southland Registry, in the name of Mark Congreve Copland of Waimumu, farmer, subject to existing encumbrances.
