Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in the Clutha County

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Dunedin declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Otago Catchment Board on the 9th day of March 1989.

(b) Pursuant to section 52 declares the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for the generation of electricity.

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Dunedin hereby amends the notice dated the 5th day of January 1989 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19th January 1989, No. 5, page 244 declaring land realigned in the Clutha County, by omitting reference to certificate of title Volume 238, folio 25 in the Schedule.
