Declaring Land Acquired for Road, Road to be Stopped and Land Acquired for the Generation of Electricity in Blocks IV, V and VI, Wakefield Survey District and Block I, Cromwell Survey District, Vincent County

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Dunedin hereby declares that:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road, which pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 8, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the generation of electricity and shall vest in the Crown on the 9th day of March 1989.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117, declares the parts of road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and declares that the areas marked ‘O’ on S.O. Plan 21802 and ‘W’ on S.O. Plan 21803 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, No. 7B/542.
