Acquiring Land and an Interest in Land for Irrigation Purposes in the Bay of Islands County

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto and a right to convey water, over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, containing the rights and powers set forth in clauses 1, 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, as modified by an agreement dated the 26th day of August 1988, between the Crown and Richard John Clark of Kerikeri, farmer and Melva Joy Clark, his wife, a copy of which may be perused at the office of the Department of Lands at Auckland and identified by No. 25/30/56, are hereby acquired for irrigation purposes and the said land and right to convey water shall vest in the Crown on the 9th day of March 1989.
