Order for Restoration

Pursuant to section 117 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal on the 5th day of December 1988 ordered that the name of Alwyn Evan Moon of Auckland, barrister and solicitor, be restored to the Roll of Barristers and the Roll of Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand on the condition that the said Alwyn Evan Moon shall not practise as a solicitor on his own account whether in partnership or otherwise until authorised by the Tribunal to do so, and further ordered that the said Alwyn Evan Moon pay to the New Zealand Law Society and the Auckland District Law Society in equal shares the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) in total as a contribution towards the costs and expenses of the respective societies of and incidental to the application for restoration and further that the said Alwyn Evan Moon pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) as a contribution towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the Tribunal into the application for restoration.
