Fire Service Act 1975

Henderson, Titirangi and Waitemata Fire Districts Cancellation Notice—1989

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975 the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice:

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Henderson, Titirangi and Waitemata Fire Districts Cancellation Notice 1989.

(2) This notice shall be deemed to have come into effect on the 1st day of April 1989.

2. Henderson, Titirangi and Waitemata Fire Districts cancellation—The Henderson Fire District as defined by the Henderson Fire District Notice 1986; the Titirangi Fire District as defined by the Titirangi Fire District Notice 1986 and the Waitemata Fire District as defined by the Waitemata Fire District Notice 1986 in the New Zealand Gazette, 1986, pages 1668 to 1670, are hereby abolished and the areas so defined are absorbed into the Auckland Fire District as defined in the New Zealand Gazette, 1986, page 1665 and as amended by the Papatoetoe Fire District Cancellation Notice 1986 in the New Zealand Gazette, 1986, page 2558 and the Glen Eden Fire District Cancellation Notice 1988 in the New Zealand Gazette, 1988 page 3975.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held For Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the land in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.
