Notice

1. Title—This notice may be cited as the DFC New Zealand Limited (Appointment of Advisory Committee) Notice (No. 2) 1989.

2. Appointment of additional member to advisory committee:

(i) Philip Seers, of London, banker, is hereby appointed as an additional member, in the absence of Christopher Charles Bidduplh Duffett, of the advisory committee to advise the statutory managers of the companies that are subject to statutory management under Part VC of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964 by virtue of the DFC New Zealand Limited (Statutory Management) Order 1989 on the exercise of the powers conferred by Part VC of that Act in relation to those companies.

(ii) Philip Seers is appointed for a period that commences on the 23rd day of November 1989 and that expires at 8 a.m. on the 3rd day of April 1990.

3. In this notice, a reference to the absence of any person shall mean the absence of that person from the whole or part of any meeting of the advisory committee.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the land in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Nelson Land District—Tasman District

809 square metres, more or less, being Section 70, St Arnaud Township Extension No. 2, situated in Block XIII, Motupiko Survey District. (All certificate of title 73/123 cancelled).

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Wellington Regional Conservator hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Petone Borough Council on the 10th day of May 1989:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Petone Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (b) of the said Act."

Wellington Land District—Borough of Petone—Frank Cameron Park

4.5954 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 62101, situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District. All certificate of title 31B/112.

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (Te Kohanga Reo) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
