An Interest in Land Acquired for Sanitary Purposes

(Sewage Treatment Plant and Access) in Rodney District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 (b) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Auckland, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, a lease containing the rights and powers set forth in the agreement dated the 11th day of July 1989, between The Rodney District Council and Logan Roger Campbell of Matakana, farmer, a copy of which may be perused at the office of the Department of Lands, Auckland and identified by No. 15/11/0/63281, with the proviso that the covenants and powers implied in leases by virtue of the Land Transfer Act 1952 and its amendments and the Property Law Act 1952 and its amendments shall not apply to this lease to the extent that they are inconsistent with the said agreement, is hereby acquired over the land described in the Schedule, for sanitary purposes (sewage treatment plant and access) and shall vest in The Rodney District Council on the date of publication in the Gazette.
