Land Acquired for River Control Purposes in Marlborough District and Kaikoura District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Nelson, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby acquired for river control purposes and vested in The Nelson-Marlborough Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
