Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be taken for service lane and shall vest in The Arrowtown Borough Council on the 14th day after the date of publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette.

Land Acquired for Road, Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Taken in the District of Wanganui

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Wellington:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1) declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and vested in The Wanganui District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Wanganui District Council.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 and 120 (3), declares the portion of road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, No. 31A/837, subject to memoranda of mortgages 355658.3 and 355658.4, statutory land charge 723372.1 and caveat 812696.1.

(d) Declares the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto to be taken under section 119 (1) and to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, No. 31A/837,

Wellington Land District—Wanganui District

All that piece of land containing 2763 square metres, situated in Block XVI, Moumahaki Survey District, and Block IV, Nukumaru Survey District, being part Mangawhero-O-Tahu Block; as shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 35448, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington.

Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for Road and Road Stopped in the District of Nelson

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Nelson, hereby amends the notice dated the 20th day of September 1989, and published in the Gazette of 28 September 1989, No. 167, at page 4588, land acquired for road and road stopped in the District of Nelson, by:

(a) deleting the paragraph headed “(b)”, and

(b) substituting, “(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.”

(c) omitting from the Second Schedule thereto “and Amalgamated”.
