Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Ohinemuri County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton, by an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Hauraki Catchment Board on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

All that piece of land containing 5900 square metres, situated in Block XVI, Waihou Survey District, being part Te Karaka 2 Block; as shown marked “D” on S.O. Plan 56341, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Road Realignment in Otorohanga District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of the Department of Lands, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 declares the land in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Otorohanga District Council,

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and that:

(i) Area “D”, now known as Section 1, S.O. 56941, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 12A/1425, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 859628.3, South Auckland Land Registry.

(ii) Area “A”, now known as Section 1, S.O. 57592, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 18A/925, South Auckland Land Registry.

(iii) Area “B”, now known as Section 2, S.O. 57592, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 15B/1348, subject to notice S. 612060 and to memorandum of mortgage H. 621309, South Auckland Land Registry.

244 square metres, situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, being part Otorohanga F2B2B1B Block; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 56941, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.
