Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for the Functioning Indirectly of a Road in Block XIV, Horohoro Survey District, Rotorua District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Hamilton, hereby amends the notice dated 20 August 1984, published in Gazette of 23 August 1984, No. 148 at page 3381, declaring land acquired for the functioning indirectly of a road, by deleting from the Schedule the area of 240 square metres given for the land thirdly described, and substituting “237”.

Road Realignment in Rotorua District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of the Department of Lands, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road which shall vest in The Rotorua District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped an added to land held for development of waterpower (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme) Proclamation S. 264539, South Auckland Land Registry, New Zealand Gazette, 1963, page 1081.

Land and Easement Over Land in Waikato County Acquired for Purposes Incidental to Coal Mining Operations Under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of the Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto and an easement in perpetuity to convey water over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, on the terms and conditions contained or implied in paragraphs 2 to 5, inclusive, of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, are hereby acquired for purposes incidental to coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979, and further declares that the said land and easement shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the gazette.

Amending a Notice Stopping Road in Blocks XI and XIV, Horohoro Survey District, Rotorua District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Hamilton, hereby amends the notice dated 1 June 1984, published in the Gazette, No. 98 at page 2184, declaring road stopped, by deleting from the Schedule the area of 3228 square metres, given for the land fifthly described, and substituting “1.3204 hectares”.
