Appointment of Member to Social Welfare Commission

The Minister of Social Welfare has been pleased to appoint:

Robin John Wilson

to the Social Welfare Commission in terms of section 7A (2) (b) (i) of the Department of Social Welfare Act 1971, for as long as he remains a member of the Senior Executive Service within the Department of Social Welfare, appointed under section 51 of the State Sector Act 1988.

Robin John Wilson replaces Robert Laking who has been seconded from the department.

Harbours Act 1950

Sale of Marlborough Harbour Board Land

I, William Patrick Jeffries, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrences of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) of the Act the sale of land described in the Schedule below by the Marlborough Harbour Board and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of this notice.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 2105 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 6842, Borough of Picton and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title 4B/321, Land Registration District of Marlborough.

Traffic Regulations 1976

CNG Fuel System Variation of Approval

Pursuant to regulation 90D of the Traffic Regulations 1976 (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7) and to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer of the Ministry of Transport, hereby vary the approval given on 3 February 1983 in respect of certain CNG fuel system components as specified below.

With effect from 14 July 1989 a condition is imposed on all IMZ Automotive CNG fuel cylinders covered by approval No. AFC03B010 that they are not to be refilled with CNG fuel.

Transport Act 1962

Exemption from the Compulsory Stopping of Certain Vehicles at Specified Railway Crossings

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 64 of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby declares that nothing in subsection (1) of the said section 64 shall apply with respect to the railway level crossing described in the Schedule hereto.

The railway level crossing on the Hornby Industrial Branch Railway Line at Amyes Road.
