A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 16th day of May 1975, to be road, and to be vested in The Whakatane District Council.

All that piece of land containing 2 roods 1 perch, situated in Block VIII, Waihi South Survey District, being part Allotment 632, Matata Parish (Roadway); as shown coloured pink, edged pink on M.L. Plan 20886; lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of March 1988.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an urupa and place of historic interest for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Henarata Kohere.

All that piece of land situated in Blocks XV and XI, East Cape Survey District, and described as follows:

Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and being part of the land contained in a Partition Order of the Maori Land Court, Wanganui, dated 12 November 1981.

New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981

Declaring Railway Land at New Plymouth to be Disposed of and Vested in the Taranaki Harbour Board for Harbour Works

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be disposed of and vested in The Taranaki Harbour Board for harbour works.

2523 square metres, more or less, being part Railway Land, situated in Block IV, Paritutu Survey District, being part of the land comprised and described in Gazette, 1886, page 943, proclamation 42. Shown marked ‘A’ on plan L.O. 35665 (S.O. 12900).

Declaring Railway Land at Mangapai Not Now Required for that Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

8155 square metres, more or less, being part Allotment 43, Ruarangi Parish, situated in Block IX, Tangihua Survey District, being part of the land comprised and described in Gazette, 1916, page 9, proclamation 3824. Shown marked ‘A’ on plan L.O. 35600 (S.O. 62337).
