Land Acquired for a Teacher’s Residence and Then Set Apart for Maori Housing Purposes in the Borough of Raetihi

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, together with and subject to the rights to drain sewage and to convey water, for a teacher’s residence and vested in the Crown on the 21st day of January 1988.

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the said land, when so acquired, to be set apart for Maori housing purposes and to remain vested in the Crown.

Schedule

Wellington Land District

All that piece of land containing 975 square metres, situated in the Borough of Raetihi, being Lot 3, D.P. 56041. All certificate of title, No. 31B/540.
