Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve and Vesting of the Reserve in the Southland County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Southern Regional Boating Manager hereby revokes the appointment of the Fortrose Boating Club to control and manage the Fortrose Recreation Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, vests the said reserve in fee simple in the Southland County Council in trust for a recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967

Declaration of Infected Area Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967

Pursuant to regulation 4 of the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967, I, Russell Ballard, Secretary of Forestry, Wellington, with the approval of the Minister of Forestry, hereby declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be an infected area in respect of the insect called an Australian leaf mining sawfly (Phylacteophaga species) and revoke the declaration of infected areas published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 May 1987, No. 78, page 2323.

Schedule

All that area generally and roughly described as Northland-Auckland-Waikato-Coromandel-Tauranga-Rotorua, being that area bounded by the coastline to the north, west, and east, and to the south by a line starting at Kawhia and following the Regional/United and County Council boundaries of Raglan/Otorohanga, Waipa/Otorohanga, Waipa/Matamata to Arapuni. Thence the east bank of the Waikato River to where it adjoins State Highway No. 1, and following the southern side eastwards to Tirau. Thence following the southern side of State Highway No. 5 eastward to Rainbow Mountain. Thence north-east in a line to a point where the Regional/United and County Council boundaries for Rotorua/Tauranga/Whakatane join, and thence by the Tauranga/Whakatane boundary northwards to Otamaraka.
