Revoking a Notice Declaring Land to be Crown Land and Declaring Land to be Crown Land in the Borough of Blenheim

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 55, revokes the notice dated the 16th day of November 1987 and published in New Zealand Gazette of 26 November 1987, No. 209, at page 5370, declaring land to be Crown land in the Borough of Blenheim.

(b) Pursuant to section 42, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Amending an Order in Council Making the Kapirou–Pungareere Irrigation Order 1984

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 19th day of November 1984, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 6 December 1984, No. 227, at page 5456, making the Kapirou-Pungareere Irrigation Order pursuant to section 208 of the Public Works Act 1981, firstly by deleting the third sentence in clause 5 and substituting the following sentence:

“Extra water will be available up to a total of 1500 cubic metres per hectare in any irrigation season, and the occupier shall be liable for an extra water charge based on the actual quantity used and at the same price per 1000 cubic metres as for the water availability charge.”

secondly by deleting clause 11 and substituting the following clause:

“11. The minimum aggregate area of land occupied by any occupier that is to be included in the District shall be four (4) hectares.”

and thirdly by deleting the Second Schedule and substituting the following schedule:
