(b) Where practical, marked buoys, either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright yellow, shall be moored 50 metres and 200 metres from the waters edge and in line with each set of transit posts.

  1. Not withstanding any other provision of this notice, no person who is permitted by any such provision to propel or navigate a small craft at a speed exceeding 5 knots shall do so in any manner that is likely to endanger or unduly annoy any person who is in, on, or using the water, or fishing, or undertaking any recreational activity in the vicinity of the small craft.

  2. All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all other Acts and regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

  3. Suitable notices shall be erected at the limits of the areas described in the First Schedule hereto.

Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Act 1967

Declaration That Land Ceases to Form Part of the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Act 1967, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the recreation reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, shall from the date of this notice cease to be part of the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park and hereby revokes the reservation over the reserve as a recreation reserve.

Park and cease to be administered by the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Board and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, hereby revokes the reservation over the reserve as a recreation reserve.

Schedule

North Auckland Land Districtβ€”Great Barrier Island County

1000 square metres, more or less, being Lot 4, D.P. 125153, situated in Block II, Fitzroy Survey District. Part Gazette notice 766991A (Gazette 1980, page 1343).
