Authorisation of the Exchange of a Reserve for Other Land
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Land and Fauna of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of the reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.
First Schedule
Canterbury Land District—Ashburton County
1240 square metres, more or less, being Lot 25, D.P. 40797, situated in Block VII, Spaxton Survey District. All certificate of title 18B/1235.
Second Schedule
Canterbury Land District—Ashburton County
4000 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 49629, situated in Block VII, Spaxton Survey District. All certificate of title 28F/617.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Alexandra Borough Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director, Land and Fauna of the Department of Conservation hereby cancels the vesting in the Alexandra Borough Council and revokes the reservation over that part of the Reserve for Tree Planting purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

Classification of a Part of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager of the Department of Conservation for the Nelson/Marlborough Region hereby classifies that part of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for the purpose of a public school site to a Government purpose (Education) reserve subject to the provisions of the said Act.

1.5730 hectares, more or less, being Section 30 (formerly Part Section 17), Block I, Gore Survey District. Reserved for the purposes of a Public school site by part Gazette notice 131741.1 (New Zealand Gazette, 1895, page 1872). S.O. 6598.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to D’Urville Island Scenic Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice
Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice hereinafter described, the Regional Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Region of the Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby revokes the notice changing the classification of a part of D’Urville Island Scenic Reserve dated 17 July 1987 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 23 July 1987, No. 118, page 3439 and hereby issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.
Change of the Classification of a Part of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager (Nelson/Marlborough) hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve, described in the Schedule below, from a scenic reserve to a local purpose (site for a public hall) reserve.

Maori Affairs Act 1953
Redefining Purposes of Maori Reservation
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the purposes for which the Maori reservation was in respect of those lands described in the Schedule hereto, created by notice in the New Zealand Gazette on 14 October 1965, No. 59, page 1772 are hereby redefined as a meeting place including housing or other associated marae uses for the common use and benefit of the Maori people generally.
