Land and Easements in Gross Acquired for the Te Moana Downs Water Supply Scheme

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for water supply purposes, and that a water supply easement in gross in perpetuity is hereby acquired over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and that a centre line easement for water supply purposes in gross in perpetuity is hereby acquired over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, such easements being in accordance with the powers and rights set out in clauses 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, and the land and easements shall vest in The Strathallan County Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.

Road Realignment in the County of Southland

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands:

(a) Declares the land described in the First Schedule to be taken under section 119 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981 and declares that:

(i) The area marked ‘G’ on the plan shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate No. 209, folio 71.

(ii) The area marked ‘H’ on the plan shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. A3/404.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be road, and vested in The Southland County Council.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule hereto be stopped, and declares that:

(i) The area marked ‘C’ on the plan shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. A2/910.

(ii) The area marked ‘D’ on the plan shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 5A/593.

(iii) The area marked ‘E’ on the plan shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 209, folio 71.

(iv) The area marked ‘F’ on the plan shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. A3/404.
