Land at Greta Village Acquired for Road Diversion

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 1; the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is acquired for the functioning indirectly of a road; the land described in the Third Schedule hereto is acquired for the purposes of a road and the land in the said Third Schedule shall vest in the Hurunui County Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.
