O r d e r
1. Title—This order may be cited as the New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated) Wanganui Branch Order 1988.
2. Exemption—The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped Incorporated, Wanganui Branch (an organisation approved by the Minister of Employment under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960), is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 191 Guyton Street, Wanganui from:
(a) Section 35 of the Agricultural Workers Act 1977 insofar as it gives effect to any provision of any award or agreement under that Act relating to remuneration, holidays and the keeping of wages and holiday books;
(b) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in the workshop;
(c) The Holidays Act 1981, the Minimum Wage Act 1945, section 48 of the Agricultural Workers Act 1977 and section 194 of the Labour Relations Act 1987.

Temporary Judge of the Labour Court Appointed
Pursuant to section 291 of the Labour Relations Act 1987, His Excellency the Governor-General, has been pleased to appoint:
Bryan Osborne Nicholson of Auckland
to be a Temporary Judge of the Labour Court, commencing on the 19th day of September 1988 and ceasing at the end of the 31st day of December 1988.

National Roads Act 1953
Revoking State Highways and Declaring Public Highways to be State Highways
Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board acting with the written approval of the Minister of Transport, gives notice that the State Highways described in the First Schedule hereto are revoked, and that the public highways described in the Second Schedule hereto are declared to be State Highways within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act 1953.

No. 20 State Highway (Manukau City) Massey Road in the City of Manukau approximately 70 metres west of the junction of Buckland Road to Buckland Road, then along Buckland Road generally in a south-easterly direction to the junction of Portage Road at the western boundary of the City of Papatoetoe. From the southern boundary of the City of Papatoetoe southwards along Great South Road to the northern side of the junction of Wiri Station Road.

No. 20 State Highway (Papatoetoe City) from the western boundary of the City of Papatoetoe along Portage Road, Station Road, St. George Street, Carruth Road, Puhinui Road, and Great South Road to the southern boundary of the city.

No. 5 State Highway within Hawke's Bay County from the northern junction with the road giving access to the Mohaka River Bridge at R.P. 204/14.8 and the southern junction with that road at R.P. 220/1.05.

Description of State Highways

No. 20 State Highway (Manukau City) the section of Public Highway commencing from Massey Road at approximately 70 metres west of its junction with Buckland Road, then proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction for 4.4 km connecting with Roscommon Road, then along Roscommon Road southwards to Wiri Station Road, then along Wiri Station Road generally in an easterly direction to the junction of Great South Road.

No. 5 State Highway as including the road within Hawke's Bay County giving access across the Mohaka River Bridge between its northern junction with the access road to the old Mohaka River Bridge site at R.P. 204/14.8 and the southern junction at that access road at R.P. 220/1.05.

No. 5 State Highway within Taupo County as including the Runanga Deviation over the length between its northern and southern junctions with Poho-kura Road at R.P. 169/14.62 and R.P. 187/4.00 respectively.

No. 2 State Highway as including the deviation giving access across the new Makakahi River Bridge in Eketahuna County between R.P. 825/16.00 and R.P. 825/17.20.

No. 6 State Highway (Nelson City) from the northern boundary of the City of Nelson, along Atawhai Drive, Queen Elizabeth II Drive, Haven Road, Wakefield Quay, Rocks Road, Tahananui Drive, Annesbrook Drive and Main Road, Stoke to the southern boundary of the City of Nelson.

Insurance Companies' Deposits Act 1953—Proposed Release of Deposit
The T & G Fire and General Insurance Company Ltd. (herein called "the company") has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of such Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.
